Hot Since 82’s newest single “Buggin” was released today along with an announcement of his new album project called 8-Track.
2018 has been a busy year for Hot Since 82 as he’s been touring and hard at work in the studio. For the first time this year, he has an announcement to make about some new original music! “Buggin”, his latest single, was released today and later this year, fans should be excited to hear about his new album project called 8-Track.
The new single, “Buggin”, was released on Daley’s very own Knee Deep In Sound label today in the midst of his Labyrinth residency at Pacha Ibiza. The track is the perfect embodiment of his unique signature sound and is mixed with beautiful vocals from Jem Cooke. I’m sure we’ll hear this track supported by many artists in future sets!

His new album, 8-Track, is set to be released later this year and is a creative concept constructed by Hot Since 82 himself. It breaks the constraints of a typical EP/12 release. Without the normal pressures of a studio album, 8-Track will include eight original tracks and will be the perfect showcase of just what Hot Since 82 is all about. Along with his new single and album announcement, Daley is working on the continued growth of his Ibiza residency and just released a Japan version of his ‘Even Deeper’ documentary series. He has dedicated this particular short in the series to the late Anthony Bourdain.
