Poolside is back and better than ever with a new music video and a tour that you’ll definitely want to be attending!
Since beginning their mission of dominating the indie-dance scene back in 2011, Poolside has become well-known for their unique stylings in the studio and their live performances that keep crowds grooving. Having been supported by the likes of James Murphy from LCD Soundsystem and Derrick May it was clear that this duo is destined for greatness.
Although it has been fairly quiet for Poolside lately, with their last live show happening back in 2013 and having released the acclaimed Heat LP nearly a year ago, we’ve been patiently waiting for new music from the duo! But now, the wait is over Poolside has announced that they’re dropping a new EP dubbed Feel Alright on May 18, which will feature quality remixes from Yuksek and Falcon Punch that will surely be in playlists all summer long.
On top of the EP release this Friday, Poolside has dropped a music video to pair with the title track as well. Showing off the sun-soaked grit of the duo, the video takes those who tune in on a journey with pro-skater Braydon Szafranski and model Ashley Smith as they hit iconic locations in the West.

Additionally, Poolside have also announced that they’ll be headed out on the Feel Alright Tour!
Hitting stops in Brooklyn, Toronto, and Portland they’ll be closing things out in Denver at Grandoozy Festival this September. Alongside the duo will also be a live band featuring some talent like drummer Vito Roccoforte, vocalist/bass player Mattie Safer of The Rapture, and also percussionist Brijean Murphy of Toro Y Moi. Full dates can be found below!
“Over the last five years the focus has been DJing in a club setting, so it’s been exciting adding new layers to the Poolside sound and working with some of my favorite players to bring the music to life in a live venue. Also pumped to play songs from Heat live for the first time ever.”
