In Dust We Trust is the mantra of many Burning Man attendees who have developed a deep passion for Black Rock City and the culture that has sprung up from the festival. Over the years many theme camps have gained notoriety for their contributions to the festival, few as consistent as PlayaSkool. This Saturday, May 12, you’ll be able to help them continue on their mission of bringing education experiences to Burning Man with their fundraiser at Avalon Hollywood.
Nick Warren, Öona Dahl, and Dance Spirit will be taking the stage to keep the dancefloor grooving all night long, and it is sure to be full of some beats you won’t want to miss out on. Nick Warren has made a serious name for himself in the house music scene over the years with his quality releases and work behind the scenes as well. As one half of duo Way Out West, he is coming off a stellar 2017 that saw the release of Tuesday Maybe, one of the top albums that dropped that received love from fans and tastemakers alike.
Joining Nick will be Öona Dahl, who has made serious waves as both a tastemaker and artist as well, with releases on Desert Hearts, When We Dip, and more. She’s one of the hottest acts in the house music scene right now, and she’ll be making the crowd move in all the right ways. Opening the night will be Dance Spirit who will be setting things off with their deep beats that show synergy between two artists who are both share a passion for electronic music that takes listeners on a journey.
