Austin City Limits Music Festival is set to feature artists from a wide array of genres ranging from Paul McCartney and Metallica to Justice and Odesza!

When the Austin City Limits Music Festival lineup dropped for their 2018 edition, you could hear the collective community by way of their jaws dropping to the floor. Featuring headliners Paul McCartney, Metallica, Childish Gambino, Arctic Monkeys, Travis Scott, Odesza, and The National, their top line is a dream for many music lovers.

Hosted over two weekends, October 5-7 and 12-14, at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas, ACL Festival has become renowned over the years for their stunning curation of artists. Beyond the aforementioned headliners, a deep lineup of artists is set to be showcased this year from a wide range of genres.

One of the most notable things about this lineup is that it seemingly has bucked the trend of hip-hop dominance in favor of rock. While there are definitely hip-hop artists present, this lineup is dominated by the stylings of the Deftones, Father John Misty, and Jungle. On top of that, there are artists like St. Vincent, David Byrne, and Khalid who will all bring their unique sound to the table as well.

On the electronic music side, ACL might be a little bit light compared to other festivals, but the names they’ve brought to the table have been making serious waves. These acts include everyone from Justice and REZZ to Illenium and San Holo, hitting the right marks for artists that have killed it this year already.

If you’re looking to discover some of the artists featured on the lineup this year, look no further than the comprehensive Spotify Playlist that the ACL team has put together. Read on for the full lineup, take note if your favorite act will be at weekend one or two, and let us know who you’re most stoked to see in the comments!

Tickets for both weekends of Austin City Limits are on sale now via www.aclfestival.com/tickets. Grab yours today!
