The Convoy compilation features new bass tracks by Liquid Stranger, Space Jesus, Buku, and more!
Liquid Stranger’s label Wakaan has been killing it in the bass realm lately and their newest release is 23 fire tracks on a compilation titled Convoy. Set to become the soundtrack to our summer of getting melted on the rail, the release features a blend of space bass, groove-filled funk, all while blended with that west coast flavor we love. If you’re craving the darker side of bass music, this is the perfect way to experience some new and familiar artists.
Liquid Stranger and Space Jesus’ “Dragonhawks” stands out on the compilation with its driving, wide bass by the former combined with the space melodies from the later. LUZCID’s “Warp Speed” brings the heat with more of the driving, wobbly bass sound. The compilation also sees the release of Buku‘s latest track, titled “Heartbeat“, that we’ve kept our eye on since we first heard last year.
