On Saturday, April 14, the minimalist progressive trance master, Neelix, will be back at Avalon Hollywood!
Neelix is no stranger to the complex sounds of electronic music. As one of the most versatile artists in the game, he has the ability to keep the trance foundation while mixing in multiple different sounds. To say his style is unique is an understatement. His talent enables him to traverse multiple genres such as progressive, house, and psytrance, to name a few.
The German native who takes his name from a beloved Star Trek character had his big break in 2005, despite releasing his debut album two years earlier. Since then his unique brand of minimalist trance and psytrance, often with the inclusion of voice samples or spoken word, has continued to set him apart from other big names.
He’s not one to just slap together a track. Neelix is methodical in every step of the process, from the basslines to the titles and carefully curated lyrics. Due to being a musical chameleon, you never know what type of set he’ll play at any given event; this keeps each set unique and the audience on their toes.
Along with Neelix, Trance Psyberia, Kiraz, Submersive, and Transcendent will also be heading up the main lineup. Additionally, the Pioneer stage will be hosted by RaveMeetup and is stacked with amazing local talent. This side stage will be blasting the sounds of Justin Varma, Prranit, Skyelab b2b Hawaiian Tim, and OLIVER MOSS pres. MISHKI.
