The wait is over! Golden Features is back with his newest single “Falling Out”, out today via Warner Music Australia and Big Beat.
After a nearly two-year-long hiatus, Tom Stell, better known as Golden Features, has finally returned with the release of his massive new single, “Falling Out”. Based in Sydney, this Australian artist has made major waves in the dance music scene ever since he first stepped into it back in 2014.
Golden Features’ last EP was released via Warner Music Australia and Big Beat and features two excellently contrasting tracks, “Wolfie” and “Funeral”, that truly showcase Stell’s versatility as a producer. Known for his effective basslines and funky synths, “Falling Out” is everything we love about Golden features and more.
As the song builds in momentum, its pulsing rhythms gradually draw the listener in before erupting into a chorus of synthy-funk goodness. With its hypnotic beats and vocals (which, by the way, feature Stells himself), this track had me feeling like I’d magically teleported to an underground speakeasy at 2 AM and I loved every minute of it.

“Falling Out” is the first single off of Stells’ forthcoming album, but he has already made quite a name for himself in Australia and across the globe. Prior to the release of his latest EP, he released a slew of singles, including “Telescope” featuring K.Flay and “No One” featuring Thelma Plum. Additionally, he’s most well-known for his explosive remix of Porter Robinson’s “Years Of War”, which Porter himself requested and praised.
“Falling Out” is just another teaser of what’s still to come for Golden Features and I can’t wait to see what else he has in store. Make sure to check out the track below and let us know what you think in the comments!
