Guy Gerber Releases the Three-Track 'What To Do' EP

Guy Gerber has left us seriously impressed with his recently released What To Do EP.

Renowned for his melodic sounds, Guy Gerber has been continually impressing the electronic music world over the years with his studio productions and live performances. Having worked with everyone from Dixon to Puff Daddy and setting the tone for the night by opening for Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics show at Hollywood Bowl last year, Guy is an artist that any lover of electronic music should take note of. Now, only bolstering his catalog is the latest release to dominate our eardrums with the EP, What To Do.

While the What To Do EP itself only features three tracks, each is a powerful tune in its own right. We couldn’t be happier to see that all three tracks come in at over six minutes in length, effectively bucking the trend of shorter songs that has seemingly permeated the scene while also allowing for each track to develop properly.

The EP kicks off with the title track “What To Do”, which brings a deep and atmospheric tone with it as background percussion plays with your eardrums. The vocals give the track a memorable quality that ties in perfectly with the piano melody that is prominent throughout.

“Night Of The Gold Diggers” changes things up with its punchy percussion and unique vocal chops. A track that will get you pulling some moves you didn’t know you had in you while on the dancefloor, it’s definitely a great tune to keep the party going deep into the night.

Closing things out and taking things down a notch on the EP is “Hummingbird Blues” that is highlighted by distorted vocals, hi-hat cymbals, and drums that really give you a kick. From start to finish this EP really shows off the depth of Guy Gerber’s skills in the studio and has only further solidified his place as one of the top electronic artists in the scene today.
