With a background in music theory and classical piano, it’s no surprise that Mark Sixma produces tracks that are intricate and in-depth. Akin to a trance chameleon, he is able to produce multiple styles within the genre. He typically creates uplifting trance and progressive sounds while M6 brings a higher bpm tech-trance sound.
An amazingly dynamic artist, Sixma has stood the test of time and been part of the trance scene for over 10 years. He was thrust into the spotlight after the success one of his first releases, “Destination 6“ and since then, Sixma’s career has been on fire.
Mark Sixma has released numerous original tracks and remixes over the years. He’s collaborated with influential artists such as Armin van Buuren and Emma Hewitt. Every time he releases a new track, it’s seen with success showing just how revered he is in the scene. Additionally, he has played at some of the most notable dance music festivals including A State of Trance, Creamfields, Dreamstate and Ultra Music Festival.
