On Friday, January 26, hip-hop takes over Avalon Hollywood as Waka Flocka Flame is set to take the stage with support from DJ Whoo Kid & KITTENS!
Though the brazen Atlanta-based rapper is known for his smooth flow and fierce lyrics, Waka Flocka Flame was in the game for a while before his big break in 2009 when he was thrust into the spotlight. It was that year his debut single “O Let’s Do It” broke through the Billboard top 100 and landed at 62. Two years later Flocka dropped his debut album Flockaveli which went on to debut at number six on the Billboard Charts.
Since then, the former 1017 Brick Squad Records member has gone on to release multiple albums which generated many hits. To date, Waka Flocka has dropped over thirty singles and mixtapes with the most popular and highest-charting single being “No Hands” featuring Roscoe Dash and Wale.

At Avalon this weekend he’ll receive support from DJ Whoo Kid and KITTENS.
A Queens native, DJ Whoo Kid is the CEO of Shadyville Entertainment, the former DJ for G‐Unit Records, and current DJ for Waka Flocka Flame. In addition to working with Flocka, he has had residencies in Miami, Las Vegas, and Dubai.
KITTENS is a heavy-hitting powerhouse in the LA club scene. She’s known for her hip-hop stylings mixed with heavy beats that have garnered respect from the likes of Skrillex, A-Trak, DESTRUCTO, and more. What makes her more amazing is her work off the decks. An activist in her downtime, you can also find her hosting PWR, a non-profit DJ workshops for women.
