Cascada gets us in the holiday mood with her 2012 album It’s Christmas Time.
You might remember Cascada from her monstrous Europop anthem “Everytime We Touch”, but you might not have heard her cover of timeless holiday classics on It’s Christmas Time, released in 2012.
Tracks on the album include some of my personal holiday favorites – “Winter Wonderland”, “Last Christmas”, and “I’ll Be Home For Chritmas”. Kicking off the album, however, is “Let It Snow” reminding us of this cold, wintery time of the year.
Cascada’s rendition of “Let It Snow” pairs the familiar lyrics with the subtle tones of the original. It’s a sharp contrast to what we’re used to hearing from the delightful German artist, but it is absolutely worth a listen.

Cascada – “Let It Snow” – Lyrics
Oh, the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we’ve no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
It doesn’t show signs of stopping
And I’ve bought some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
When we finally kiss goodnight
How I’ll hate going out in the storm
But if you’ll really hold me tight
All the way home I’ll be warm
The fire is slowly dying
And my dear, we’re still goodbying
As long as you love me so
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
When we finally kiss goodnight
How I’ll hate going out in the storm
But if you’ll really hold me tight
All the way home I’ll be warm
The fire is slowly dying
And my dear, we’re still goodbying
As long as you love me so
Let it snow (let it snow)
Let it snow (let it snow)
Let it snow (let it snow)
