There are some great additions to the Okeechobee lineup and they aren’t finished yet

We are just over a month away from Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival and Soundslinger is excited to announce some great additions to already impressive lineup! Keeping with the festival’s committed pursuit to push the boundaries of genre and surprises in programming, OMF 17 has added Grammy-nominated country artist Sturgill Simpson. The announcements didn’t stop there, as Okeechobee also added Logic, funk outfit Vulfpeck, electronic-funk duo The Floozies, 12th Planet, Ganja White Night, Space Jesus, Brasstracks, Gothenburg, Sweden-based future bass artist Kasbo, Pell, The Golden Pony, Vandana, Polyenso, Funky Dawgz Brass Band, Octopus Kid, Roosevelt Collier Allstar Jam, Slumber, Tomas Station, Jon Simon and many more.

The second edition of OMF 2017 will be taking place Thursday, March 2nd through Sunday, March 5th at Okeechobee, Florida’s beautiful Sunshine Grove. The grove is located on over 600 acres of pristine grasslands, clear lakes, and exotic tropical woodlands. Early Bird festival tickets sold out in record time and while General Admission tickets are still available they’ve just entered Tier 2 pricing.

The nightly after-party, deep in the heart of the jungle

The aliens have colonized Jungle 51 once again. A nightly dusk-till-dawn electronic experience set apart from the main stage area in a lush and tropical enclave, Jungle 51 was a highlight for music fans last year. At sunset each day, the jungle will begin to rustle and come alive. Festival goers will unite under the light of the moon to take in some of the world’s top names in underground techno and house. The Jungle 51 stage will feature three nights of otherworldly beats during Okeechobee 2017.

Firehouse’s label head Kim Ann Foxman headlines Friday night with pulsating coolness, supported by Wolfram (Vienna’s current Mozart of Synthesis), and UmFang. On Saturday evening Berlin’s DVS1 and Ryan Elliott (Berghain and Panorama Bar residents respectively), headline, keeping people moving into the wee hours of the morning. Then on Sunday Detroit’s Omar S along with Nightmares On Wax and Sebastian Mullaert AKA Minilogue will close out the festival with an array of funk, groove, and cinematic energy.
