What was your first electronic music event?
EDC Las Vegas 2014! Go big or go home right?
What/who influenced you to attend your first event?
In 2014 my amazing friend Dase announced that he was moving back to Florida. He told me he was coming back to SD for a visit in June, but only to meet up to drive to EDC. I looked at him and said, “I don’t really know what that is, but I want to go with you! Sign me up!”
What is one moment from an event that was special and why?
One moment that was really special for me was being able to share EDC 2016 with my boyfriend Kevin, and sing Yellow Claw – Lifetime to him at Kinetic Temple. We were in a sea of people but in that moment none of them existed.
What is your favorite festival or event?
EDC Las Vegas 2014 is still my favorite event. There were just so many new experiences and discoveries for me.
What is your favorite electronic song and why?
Kaskade – Last Chance
It just has so many feels attached to it! I was at main stage and the wind started to pick up.. and it was just a perfect moment in time.
Who are your favorite artists?
Dillon Francis is probably my current favorite. I also really enjoy Zomboy, The Glitch Mob and Kaskade. But my favorites really depend on what mood I’m in!
What are your favorite genres?
Honestly I don’t know! Like I said my tastes vary depending on my mood, and I’m a huge lover of so many different kinds of EDM and music in general!
What do you feel your “Identity” is in the electronic music community?
I’ve been told that I tend to take on the role of rave mom. I love to give to others and help other people out at events. If someone needs water, or needs to be fanned, I love being right there to take care of them!
