V2 Presents has brought the best music the world has to offer to Utah for years. Including their weekly installments entitled Therapy Thursdays where each week they bring world-class talent to the lovely SKY nightclub in Salt Lake City. Last week was an overwhelming success for Therapy Thursdays as the Drum and Bass guru took to the stage and brought the house down on SKY SLC. Did you miss it? About Valentino Khan:
He had the most played song of 2015, as anyone who attended a festival that year can attest to. Deep Down Low has been a smash hit and DJs dropped the song on stages and radio stations all over the world. Valentino was originally a Hip Hop producer, but he credits his switch to electronic music to his first listen of Justice’s “Waters Of Nazareth“. Since then he’s gone on to produce numerous songs, including those for the likes of 2 Chainz, Bruno Mars, Tyga, and Major Lazer. He’s had major releases on labels like Columbia, Dim Mak, Interscope, Mad Decent, and Ultra Records. In 2014 he was signed to OWSLA and released his first EP “In Khan We Trust“. Since then he’s gone on to be an official remixer for huge names even outside of dance music like M.I.A., Paul McCartney, and Wiz Khalifa. His eclectic style and ability to produce in every genre out there from electro to trap and everything in between has garnered him support from some of the best producers in the scene like A-Trak, Boys Noize, Dillon Francis, Diplo, Skrillex and so many more. One thing is for sure, you won’t want to miss Valentino Khan rock the party at this week’s Therapy Thursdays!
