Borgore Goes Back To His Dubstep Roots With “Daddy”

"Daddy" by Borgore

"Daddy" by Borgore

Borgore returns back to his dubstep roots with “Daddy”, a free download released ahead of the massive Safe In Sound Tour.

Asaf Borger, better known as Borgore, has made a prominent name for himself both within the dubstep world and within the entire dance community. Through his spin on dubstep, aptly titled “Gorestep,” he has been around for years, toured and played at just about every major festival, and has his own record label – Buygore. With the dance music scene rapidly changing and evolving, you’ll often see that the overall sound of certain genres change as well. Such was the case for dubstep – the sounds of 2012 are quite antiquated compared to the sounds of dubstep now. However, on Borgore’s new track “Daddy,” he takes us back in time and gives us a dose of 2012 dubstep/gorestep. The song is Borgore at his finest and is packed with seductive lyrics, heavy bass sounds, and trap undertones. He brings this song as a free to download ahead of the massive Safe and Sound Tour, which he is headlining.

Safe and Sound is a tour that brings the best of bass music together under one roof. The tour spans from mid September into late November and runs through the majority of the United States. You can purchase tickets HERE.

Some people have given negative reviews on Borgore’s latest track, saying that those sounds should stay in the past. Feel free to listen and make your own choice! What are your thoughts on his return to his roots?
