This Saturday, Avalon Hollywood is unleashing a proper set of trance artists onto their main stage. The event will be headed by Neelix who will be laying down tracks deep into the night. The psytrance legend and Avalon resident will also be supported on the mainstage by tech trance master John Askew and Los Angeles’s own Trance Psyberia.

Neelix traverses multiple genres in electronic music, namely progressive trance, progressive house and psytrance. The German native’s debut album “No Way to Leave” catapulted into the spotlight in 2005 and he has revolutionized the dance music world ever since. In the past 11 years, he has founded his own label, Glamour Studios, played on five continent and at numerous festivals including Tomorrowland and Electric Daisy Carnival. Neelix’s sound can best be described as minimalist progressive psytrance and often includes voice samples or spoken work. Neelix will be supported by none other than tech trance master John Askew. Askew entered the world of music as a guitartist in a rock band but transitioned to electronic music in 1993. He debuted his new sound in 1994 and has remained faithful to his style ever since. He’s been involved with numerous labels including Discover, Discover Dark and Kompressed and is currently one of the seven trance artists involved in The VII Crew. Askew strikes a perfect balance between hard deep techno and melodic emotional trance.
