World-renowned DJ, Tiësto must have had some blood in the water to attract JAUZ to his harbor full of collaborations with notable artists. Coming together on their track “Infected“, perhaps they plan on spreading their track throughout the globe like a virus. I’ll be honest, I was initially surprised to hear that these two collaborated together, and the infection definitely spread throughout the internet immediately after the release of the track. Containing an infectious beat that drives the track forward, you definitely get the vibes that JAUZ brings to every track with his name on it. “Infected” dropped on Musical Freedom on July 15th, with the official video released shortly after.
Released in celebration of Tomorrowland, the track was created to signify an immersion in the music which brings you to another world. It’s a unique feeling and experience to completely lose yourself to the music, whether you’re at a show or listening at home. The music video that was released for “Infected” displays that concept pretty well, with people transforming into their own unique dancing machines. The track will also be featured in an upcoming Budweiser Ad Campaign, and I expect to be hearing quite a few artists at Tomorrowland incorporating this into their sets too!
“I’ve been lucky to have my fans support my music for so long. I’ve given lots of tracks and remixes away over the years (including my remix of “All of Me”) but I want to start doing it more,” said Tiësto. “I have a few new releases that we’re going to give away between now and the end of the year and this is the first one. I loved working with JAUZ. He’s made some amazing tracks and I think this one we made is huge!”
