Shown below is the back story to the brand new track, “Lonkero”, produced by Joonas Hahmo. This track features an upbeat tempo with a very groovy electro/progessive house feel. On May 23rd, his track was featured on episode 182 of Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Radio. Being from Finland, Joonas has access to drinks with names that we are not too familiar with here in the United States. Lonkero is a canned “Long Drink” that you can purchase in Finland. It would be similar to having a Tom Collins or other highball drink you can create. After reading this amazing back story, not only am I on a mission to try out this popular Finnish drink mixture, but I have also been glued to my speakers listening to this brand new track of his.
After allowing fans to name his next release via a social media poll, Finnish Producer and DJ, Joonas Hahmo introduces “Lonkero.” The single is named after a Finnish alcoholic drink called Hartwall Original Long Drink, which is nicknamed Lonkero and is of course, Joonas’s favorite drink. Fans have taken note of his love affair with the drink consisting of gin and grapefruit juice, with the majority voting it as the most aptly titled name for the new track.
