ZDS Seeks to Know: What “Do You Like”?

The newest release to Psycho Disco Records comes to us from Zombie Disco Squad, also known as ZDS. Naming the track “Do You Like”, ZDS incites self-reflection and discovery through the repetitious inquiry into what you really like. The omnipresent narrator doesn’t miss a beat while professing its true love for music of all varieties, with but one exception…trance. This tune is simplistic in style and devoid of intensive affectations, perfect for the house and techno purists that are unapologetic about who they are and what they like.

Hailing from London, ZDS finds himself in the midst of a whirling storm of musical influence, which he advantageously uses to inject a bit of everything into his eclectic productions. He invited Codes, his friend and contemporary of the same label, to remix “Do You Like” which is equally deserving of a careful listen.  Keep an eye out for the upcoming official music video for “Do You Like” featuring cheeky illustrations to match this track’s playful design.

Gina Senegor

Gina relocated from monotonous central California to the damp, musically dense Pacific Northwest in 2009. Not long after, she became completely enveloped in the vibrant world of electronic dance music. Obsessed with the catharsis of dance and unparalleled sense of community, her life’s pursuit became attending as many live music events as possible. While she doesn’t limit her eclectic musical taste by any means, bass music is what most activates her tumultuous soul. Soon, within her grew the desire to become more involved and contribute to the community which has shown her interminable acceptance and purpose. In that pursuit, she began working with the artist relations teams at local powerhouse Foundation Nightclub and its parent company USC Events in Seattle. She’s now found a space where meaning and motivation converge and intends to embed herself as much as possible within those musical spaces.
