Winning the EDC Las Vegas Discovery Project contest in 2014, the future bass duo have been quietly working in the studio the past few months. Now, with the beginning months of festival season behind us, this duo is ready to unleash some summer jams. Their latest track,
Planet Rock, the duo of Dom Corleone & NEOTOKYO2099, has released a new dope track titled “Need U” for your listening pleasure. “Need U,” is an up-beat melodic bass anthem that you’ll find people dancing to whether its on the Speedway at EDC Las Vegas or at a nightclub in LA or New York. The track had me dancing in my seat and has a vibe that I would catch in a set by artists like Jai Wolf, Trippy Turtle, or other artists who have been on the rise as of late. It’s face paced but still brings the chill out sound, making this track appropriate for a wide variety of settings.

We absolutely love hip hop and anything with heavy bass and that’s why we came together as a duo. As solo artists you could hear different influences in our sound. Dom specializes in making high energy hip hop influenced 808 bass and Arthur (aka Neo Tokyo) specializes in making an inspirational future R&B 808 bass sound, so we were able to combine our powers together to bring people something that they can be really excited about. – Planet Rock
