Lodging and Travel Guide for Something Wonderful 2016

If you’re headed to Something Wonderful next month and you’re looking for a place to stay, hotel packages are still available through the festival’s website. The festival even offers a discount when you purchase your tickets and accommodations together of 10% off your festival admission.

There are 6 official packages available at this time:

  • Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Worth/Fossil Creek ($133/night)
  • Courtyard by Marriott Forth Worth/Fossil Creek ($138/night)
  • Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fort Worth I-35 Western Center ($143/night)
  • Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Worth/Fossil Creek ($156/night)
  • Staybridge Suites Fort Worth/Fossil Creek ($160/night)
  • Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Worth/Fossil Creek ($178/night)

The Texas Motor Speedway is located 20 miles north of downtown Dallas.


If you’re driving to the speedway, parking is available and costs $20.00 per car (cash only). Take note, there is a list of prohibited parking lot items and activities including:

  • Tailgating
  • Camping/sleeping in your vehicle
  • Buying/selling tickets
  • Vandalism
  • Loitering
  • Drinking alcohol
  • Illegal drug use
  • Drones, model aircraft, kites, and any other remote-controlled flying objects

Something Wonderful is set to take place this year on Saturday, April 23rd.
