There comes a time when every artists must look at their medium for growth and determine whether continued development is possible. Martin Garrix‘s struggle with his last label (Spinnin’ Records) ended in a separation and eventually sparked the launch of his own personal record label: STMPD RCRDS. The announcement was revealed last week on his radio show The Martin Garrix Show. Hot on the heals of Ultra Music Festival the label will be launched at Story Nightclub during the Winter Music Conference at the end of this month. The showcase will also include appearances from Arty, Jay Hardway, Julian Jordan, and Matisse Sadko!
My aim with STMPD RCRDS is to foster an artist first community to support great music. It’s important for young, undiscovered talent and veterans alike to have a support system that is invested in and dedicated to their success above all else. – Martin Garrix
Additionally, the 19-year-old DJ released a trailer on his YouTube channel (seen below) for his new track “Now that I’ve Found You.” The song itself features vocals by John and Michael and is a great precursor to his impending debut album. The full song will be released March 11.
