Sunny Lax is his name and trance is his claim to fame. An Anjunabeats superstar with the ability to stun trance crowds around the planet, Sunny Lax is most certainly a perfect choice for the incredible Dreamstate lineup. With a focus on the softer, progressive, more melodic side of the trance game, Sunny Lax will bring balance and unleash the feels in all of the festival goers. He plays and produces the type of trance that makes you want to throw your hands to the sky and get lost in the perfect melody accompanied with a strong emotional beat. Sunny Lax is coming with passion. A passion that began when he was just a young teenager.
At the age of 13, Sunny Lax, born Levente Marton, fell in love with music. This young Hungarian followed the call of his passion by beginning to produce his own music. And now a new goal would be set. He began to feel the drive to produce music for a wide audience and decided that he would compete in remix competitions, performing on a regular basis and sending his mixes to music labels in his home town and beyond. His track “P.U.M.A.” was received by label megamontser Anjunabeats and quickly they agreed to take it on. Above & Beyond played it on their radio show, Trance Around the World, and before he could even realize how much his life was about to change, Sunny Lax was signed onto their label. In 2006, “M.I.R.A.” and “Blue Bird” would follow up an already popular debut release and Sunny would begin his climb up the trance ladder to go head to head with music elite.
Recently Sunny Lax has been busier than ever. He has gone onto create trance anthems like “Blue bird”, “Miquë”, and “Misery”. At the same time he has continued to remix for all the biggest labels, and for gargantuan artists in the scene such as Above & Beyond, Super8 & Tab, and Lange. But this was not enough. In 2013, Sunny Lax started his own music label called Sounds of Elysium, a sub label of Blue Soho Recordings. His track “Marvel”, would be his first release on his label and it would reach the Beatport top 100 in a mere few days! And on he continues, creating masterful tracks and remixes, traveling the world spreading the word of trance, and receiving nothing but love throughout our beautiful community of trancers.
