There’s no denying it, Erick Morillo is back and here to stay. His come-back started with some incredible recent releases on Subliminal Records and a few shows at the ever-prominent Space Ibiza. Furthermore, southern Californians may have seen him in Los Angeles at Mixmag Lab where his darker underground melodies found dedicated fans.
True to his techno roots, Erick Morillo’s new release from Subliminal Records is the house-tech two part EP called Limitless. The first part is called “I Want You” which sizzles with hot techno beats smooth and versatile enough for just about any venue. Then, the second part named “Trapped” is a popping, crushing, hip-shaking tune that will rock any dance floor.
The Limitless EP is fun, engaging, and promising. It points to where Erick Morillo may be taking his craft and leaves you wanting more.
