Texas-based Baked Up has been cooking up fantastic parties and are now expanding even further with their latest project, the Baked Dozen.
Baked Up has been making some serious waves since first breaking onto the scene with their unique events that have become renowned for their good vibes. Driven forward by their engagement with the community, progressive lineups, and of course some tasty treats as well, they’ve quickly expanded out of their home base in Austin, Texas and have their sights set on continued growth in 2020 and beyond.
Always lending a helping hand to artists who grace their lineups, Sydney Rogers and the Baked Up crew upped the ante in September of last year by taking on management duties as well to help with branding and booking. Now, they’re taking the next step further with their latest project, the Baked Dozen.
Adding artists to their original roster to round it up to a dozen artists (which doubles as the perfect donut order, of course) the Baked Dozen is sure to bring some heat to dancefloors near and far. Curating DJs that fit perfectly into the mix, their roster features Dope Sauce, Gizmø, Gratum, Jadip, Lazy K, LovelyBones, Milazzo, Ron Austin, Saratonin, Tek Savvy, Toast, and Zkosta.
Each of the artists on the roster takes on duties both in the studio and behind the decks and span a variety of genres that range from house to dubstep with a dash of experimental bass in there as well. The other aspect that brings all these artists together is that they’re based out of Texas as well, allowing for showcases that will be can’t-miss affairs if you’re looking to have a great time.
To assist with this project, Sydney Rogers has formed the Baked Up Management Team that includes Jaeci Barber heading up A&R, Abel Trinidad who is taking on the duties of marketing and promotions, and graphic artist Eddie Saenz. Working together with the artists to focus on both communal and individual goals, expect to see some stage takeovers, branded events, and releases in the rest of the year and into 2020.
