Illenium’s Awake tour has been blowing minds all across the country, and it’s finally hitting Detroit!
Since the second his set at Lost Lands ended, I’ve been dying to see Illenium perform again, and the time has finally come! This Wednesday, December 13, Illenium will be putting on an epic show as part of his Awake tour at Detroit’s Royal Oak Theatre. Currently midway through the tour following his Awake album release this September, he has been selling out shows left and right, leaving fans breathless at each and every show.

If you haven’t heard of Illenium before, you absolutely have to give his emotional melodic bass sound a listen. He’s melded a beautiful genre that brings together passionate future bass with the occasional trap and dubstep beats, giving you everything you might need in a set. Illenium has been a favorite of mine for years and has only grown to impress me more – his Awake album is truly a work of art!

Playing a live set complete with a drum pad and keyboard, Illenium kills it on stage as he plays out hit after hit. I’m personally super excited to hear him play out his remix of Marshmello’s “Silence” – I have such fond memories from when he premiered it at Lost Lands.
With brand new vibrant, breathtaking visuals and some of the best dance music out there, Illenium’s Awake tour is a must-see! If you’re in the Detroit area, you absolutely cannot miss this show.
