Trigga Fingaz Records Releases 'Christmas Cracka,' The Soundtrack To Your Holiday

**Trigga Fingaz Records released their EP, Christmas Cracka, a week before the official holiday to help get you through the craziness this time of year brings.**

Trigga Fingaz Records is getting into the holiday spirit with their latest release, Christmas Cracka. The four-track EP features the label’s typical tongue-in-cheek attitude, wrapping it around high-energy rollers, jungle anthems, and a big bass sound. The label’s hottest residents and contributors incorporate the chaos and joy of December while still bringing the fire.

Revelation gets things rolling with “Fiya Burnin,” a jump up homage to jungle featuring distorted textures and a heavy, driving bassline. The producer was looking to create music “to elevate mentally, physically, and spiritually.”

Then, the EP smoothly moves into JJames’ “Me Gusta,” a groovier, playful track centered around a Spanish hook. It’s an infectious and spicy dancefloor banger — or as JJames put it, “it’s a stinky jump up roller.”

Label co-honcho Filthy Philip — or as he’s known around the holidays, Father Filthy — is up next with “Resurrecta.” He took things to the dark side, chopping up jungle with jump up, creating a fusion that’s raw and full of sudden drops.

The EP ends with “Long Way Back,” a storytelling masterpiece from JD Nobody. This track is the longest of the four and offers a reflective narrative with a bass-heavy aesthetic.

It’s clear that each producer had fun making their tracks but played to their strengths, creating music full of whimsy that still crushes dancefloors. The project as a whole encompasses drum and bass to a T: celebrating originality while highlighting the various facets of the genre. Each artist brings a different mood to the EP, but together, they create a cohesive story through jungle, jump up, and everything in between.
