Claude VonStroke Steps Into His Crosstown Rebels Era With ‘Noche Clara’ EP

Comprising two tracks, including a collaboration with Honeycomb, Claude VonStroke’s Crosstown Rebels debut, Noche Clara, lands just ahead of the new year.

It’s fair to ask at this point: what can’t Claude VonStroke do? The producer, DJ, and Dirtybird founder has built a career that stretches far beyond the booth, spanning festival headliner slots, underground club credibility, label leadership, and a reputation for breaking new talent. It’s evident that VonStroke’s career has thrived on reinvention and independence. But now, he’s adding a long-awaited first to his resume: a debut EP on Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels record label.

“I promised Damian I would make a Crosstown Rebels release over ten years ago, and it’s finally happened,” shared VonStroke. “He was one of the first people to ever book me in the UK twenty years ago — and this release is a throwback and a new beginning at the same time.”

After nearly two decades of shared history, Noche Clara lands as a full-circle moment for both VonStroke and Lazarus, serving as evidence that some creative ideas simply can’t be rushed. Built on hazy, atmospheric sounds, minimalism, and late-night energy, the two-track EP feels like a reconnection to VonStoke’s playful roots that defined his earliest work while pushing him into what feels like a more darker and hypnotic space.

The title track dances through shimmering synths and after-hours warmth. Then, “Bam Bam,” featuring beatbox icon and multi-talented artist Honeycomb blends warped vocals with an infectious percussion that turns into a heads-down groove built for the deep end of the dancefloor. More than just a long-awaited crossover, Noche Clara signals a broader creative shift for the Dirtybird founder as the year comes to an end.

As VonStroke turns toward more underground energy ahead of his forthcoming artist album in 2026, his Crosstown Rebels debut feels like a quiet realignment. It’s a peek into what fans can continue to expect from him in the months ahead.
