Trance enthusiasts are preparing to converge on November 21-22 for the highly anticipated tenth edition of Dreamstate SoCal. Returning to the Queen Mary Waterfront, fans are excited for nonstop sounds across the trance spectrum, from uplifting to tech trance, progressive, psytrance, and more. Attendees insist that Dreamstate always has the best vibes and kindest people of any other festival, and it’s evident from the moment you step through the doors.
The soundtrack to the weekend boasts many top-tier names. Artists like Ferry Corsten, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Ilan Bluestone, Bryan Kearney, David Forbes, Jeffrey Sutorius, Solarstone, Vini Vici, Argy, Maddix, Lilly Palmer, T78, and others will be taking the stage. Standout sets include Gareth Emery‘s Cyberpunk performance, Ben Nicky‘s Emotional Havoc set, and Tiësto‘s special trance set to cap off the experience.

Dreamstate SoCal 2025 – Parking, Rideshare, and Shuttles Info:
The free shuttles leave from the Convention Center Parking Lot and head to the festival grounds from 3pm to 8pm, with return trips departing from outside the main festival entrance from 11pm to 2am.
This year also brings forth Premier Shuttles. These shuttles cost $32.99 per day, with Friday and Saturday purchased separately. They provide expedited boarding for your trip to Dreamstate SoCal. Please note that you must pick up your wristband at the offsite shuttle pickup location or the one at the main festival entrance. Additionally, the Premier Shuttles do not run after 2am, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to attend the after party on either night.
As for parking, all lots are first-come, first-served and will not be pre-sold. Recommended lots are The Pike, Convention Center, and Marina Green.

Unfortunately, during this festival season, many have reported pickpockets, bag slashings, and theft of wallets, smartphones, purses, and other valuables. While this small number of bad apples in the bunch doesn’t define an entire crowd, some opportunistic people come to these events to take advantage of unsuspecting partygoers, and it’s essential to be mindful of your valuables while at Dreamstate SoCal.

- YES Deodorant
- YES E-cigs/vapes
- YES Festival totems or decorated pool noodles (see Totem Guidelines)
- YES Flags/banners or handmade signs (no corporate/company-branded and no hard flagpoles)
- YES Glowsticks & glowing/illuminated costumes or jewelry, LED poi and orbitals, Hula hoops – including LED hoops
- YES NON-CLEAR (and clear) hydration packs with no more than two main compartments and one smaller compartment (must be empty upon entry)
- YES Non-professional flash/still cameras, handheld video devices under 6″ (Sony Action Cam, GoPro, etc.), and GoPro extendable poles
- YES Personal misting fan with a bottle no larger than 1.5L (must be empty upon entry)
- YES Physician-prescribed medication that is not expired (must show physician’s prescription and consult with a safety officer upon entry)
- YES Reusable water bottles (must be empty upon entry)
- YES Sealed Intranasal Naloxone
- YES CLEAR bags and do not exceed 12″x6″x12″
- YES NON-CLEAR (and clear) small clutch bags not exceeding 6″ x 9″ (15cm x 23cm) with or without handle or carrying straps are permitted

- NO Illegal substances
- NO Laser pointers and air horns
- NO Markers, pens or spray paint
- NO Massagers
- NO Outside food or beverages (including alcohol and candy)
- NO Over-the-counter medication
- NO Pets
- NO Professional photo, video, or audio recording equipment (no detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms or commercial-use rigs)
- NO Red-colored light-up wands, batons, or lightsabers
- NO Stickers, flyers
- NO Tents, large umbrellas, chairs, or blankets
- NO Toy guns, water guns, slingshots
- NO Weapons of any kind (including pocket knives, pepper spray, fireworks, etc.)
- NO Wind chairs/sofas
Totem Guidelines
- Maximum height is 10 feet.
- Totems must be made from a lightweight material (e.g., foam, PVC / no solid metal).
- Collapsible/telescoping camera extenders that follow the above guidelines are OK (lightweight/hollow aluminum/polycarbonate).
- PVC, light wood or aluminum poles must be no thicker than 1 inch in diameter.
- Decorated pool noodles work great for easy entrance through security.
- Inflatables attached to totems must be deflated upon entry.
- Any item deemed dangerous will not be allowed.
- Totems promoting illegal activity or hate speech will not be permitted. Please keep it PLUR.
