Camp Alderwild has kept fans excited since its initial lineup announcement in April. Since then, there have been plenty of teasers to keep anticipation high, including afterparty lineups, workshops, and our official playlist. Camp Alderwild is set to take over the mountain oasis of Telluride Town Park on August 22-23. It’s shaping up to be a sensational first edition that will hopefully become Colorado’s new staple festival.
The lineup is stacked with names all fondly cherished by the scene. Joining Of The Trees on Friday night are Jade Cicada, Thought Process, Taiki Nulight, and Curra. Saturday’s crew features Tycho, Ott., Air Castles, and EPROM, the lattermost of whom will be debuting his ‘Underclock’ set. Not to mention all of the activities set to match the outdoorsy energy, like fly fishing workshops, edible plant walks, San Juan ecology and conservation workshops, yoga, and more. Service animals are permitted in the Concert grounds. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals as defined by the 2010 ADA Guidelines. Each service animal must remain with its owner and be restrained. If a service animal interferes with other guests, corrective action may include re-arranging seating or removal of the service animal from the concert grounds.

Unfortunately, many recent festival attendees have reported pickpockets, bag slashings, and theft of wallets, smartphones, purses, and other valuables. While this small number of bad apples in the bunch doesn’t define an entire crowd, some opportunistic people come to these events to take advantage of unsuspecting partygoers.
