GENESI Drops Off Three Bangin’ Tracks on Latest EP

The Hyper EP is out now via Diynamic Music and features three fantastic tunes from GENESI that will make your body move on the dancefloor.

Artists in the melodic house and techno scene might have leaned heavily into larger-than-life experiences and music that fits that mold in recent years, but GENESI is an artist who is looking to break free. This Italian DJ and producer has continued to win over the hearts and minds of many who are hunting for rich soundscapes littered with dancefloor moments to bask in, and he’s delivered just that on his latest EP, Hyper.

The Hyper EP is GENESI’s second on Diynamic, marking a full circle moment for the artist who is quickly ascending the scene’s ranks. “When I started GENESI, Solomun and the Diynamic sound were my biggest inspirations,” he said on Instagram. “At first, my tracks felt far from that vibe, which is why releasing my second EP on this iconic label feels so special.”

GENESI offers three tunes on the Hyper EP that hit hard. The title track kicks off the ride with a repeated vocal before its lyric-dominated soundscape kicks into full gear. The hypnotic bassline roars forward in the background before synths take center stage for added effect. “Capri” keeps the energy alive with a broken beat, with vocal chops, a disco-infused groove, and other delightful elements that help highlight the dynamic range that GENESI brings with his music.

The EP’s final track, “Right Now, ” slows things down just a tad. GENESI layers in familiar elements like his signature vocal chops, but the darker, more brooding beat lurches forward like a nocturnal creature emerging from the depths of the unknown. This mesmerizing tune caps off the collection perfectly.
