Building on her rising momentum, she has officially announced the arrival of her self-titled debut album, due out on June 27 via Collection Disque Durs / All Night Long.
Created on the move between flights and late-night performances, the 11 tracks on the new album are driven by adrenaline and made for all those feeling lost and tired. She teams up with hyperpop icons Danny L Harle and Hannah Diamond on the album, exploring a poppier sound marked by more intimate rhythms and slower tempos.
Alongside the album announcement, TDJ dropped a hypnotic new single, “Where Is My Angel,” to give listeners a taste of what’s to come. She explores the tension between motion and stillness, fusing a slow-burning blend of futuristic trance and indie pop in the song and layering it with a subtle burst of thrilling intensity. “I needed to feel some kind of clarity out of this unpredictable life path I was embracing,” she reflected on the challenge of being on the road. “I felt the need to slow down and really take the time to work on this one.”
