Black Book Records and FNGRS CRSSD have teamed up to bring forth Black Book On The Water, a special summer showcase at San Diego’s Waterfront Park.
Chris Lake and FNGRS CRSSD have become longstanding friends over the years. Not only has the British DJ and producer played multiple editions of CRSSD Festival, but he has also continuously brought Black Book Records showcases to San Diego during this time. While Black Book In The Park became a can’t-miss summer soiree, this year they’re changing up the venue and taking over Waterfront Park for the debut of Black Book On The Water.
Black Book On The Water is set to take place on Saturday, August 2. While it will only feature a single stage instead of the usual three that CRSSD Festival boasts, this show is bringing plenty of power on the lineup. Head honcho Chris Lake is slated to headline the festivities, and he’s sure to play out some of his latest hits like “In My Head” with Amber Mark, “Ease My Mind” with Abel Balder, and “Toxic” with Ragie Ban. Those attending will also hear tracks from his forthcoming debut album, Chemistry, which will be less than a month old at the time of the show.
Chris Lake is certainly the draw for Black Book On The Water, but he’s curated some incredible artists to join him for the day. Legendary artist Green Velvet and rising phenom Odd Mob take the reins as the next two huge names slated to play. Others that shouldn’t be missed include UK Garage artist MPH, REALM darling Jackie Hollander, and Bristol-based artist Marco Strous.
The artist presale for Black Book On The Water kicks off on Tuesday, April 29 at 12pm PT, with the CRSSD presale beginning on Wednesday, April 30 at 12pm PT. Head to Laylo to sign up for presale access.
