CASSIMM chatted with us about his exciting joint release with D’Vision on Golden Recordings, the evolution of his sound, and what’s to come in 2025.
It’s been a landmark year for Italian, London-based DJ and producer CASSIMM. Known for his unique ability to blend the timeless grooves of classic house with a fresh, modern edge, CASSIMM has continued to make waves across the global house music scene.
With standout releases on acclaimed labels like Defected, Toolroom, and once again, Claptone‘s Golden Recordings, he’s become a staple in the sets of house music heavyweights rinsing such as Marco Carola, Honey Dijon, and Claptone.
CASSIMM’s 2024 was marked by hits like “Love Desire,” a track that dominated dancefloors and climbed Beatport charts, in addition to high-profile productions that solidified his reputation as one of the most all-around innovative artists in the genre. Now, he’s kicking off 2025 with a bang, teaming up with Polish DJ and producer D’Vision for their new collaborative single, “You Got It All.”
“You Got It All,” released on Golden Recordings, lifts listeners up with excited anticipation for a funk-ridden drop, starting with a bassline that climbs steadily from the start. Soulful vocals seamlessly sew the track together for a modern tune that blends a hint of nostalgia with past, present, and future sounds of raw house music. “The catchy track”You Got It All” was made with rhythm and groove in mind, and its translation to sound is nothing short of impressive.
We caught up with CASSIMM to chat about the making of this exciting track, how his creative process keeps his sound authentic, and a busy year ahead as a leading force in house music balancing family life and a jam-packed tour schedule. Read on for the full interview.

You’ve built a reputation for blending classic house with fresh, modern energy. How does “You Got It All” reflect or evolve this signature sound?
I had this vision of bringing back the good, old raw house sound, with big kicks and a touch of real basslines, and that is what I did with “Say Yeah.” I believed that was missing in the scene and in my sets. Now, I’m hearing more tracks from different producers along the same lines, and that is really cool.
The track strikes a balance between underground house vibes and upbeat flair. How do you approach creating music that resonates both with club crowds and a wider audience?
It’s just the way I make music and how I like it. I’ve never forced something when it comes to making a new track, you know? Like adding more vocals for the purpose of Spotify or radio. I believe that if a track is good, it will find its way to becoming a hit.
Collaborating with D’Vision brings a unique dynamic to this track. What was it like working with him, and how did his style influence the final sound of “You Got It All”?
I met D’Vision a few years back. He used to be a booker and resident DJ of a club in Poland. We quickly became friends, and we played many times together, but the idea of collaborating never struck our minds ’til he sent me the first draft of the track. When I heard it, I knew it was good; it was just missing the “Say Yeah” touch I was just talking about. We made the track exactly how we like to play.
Having released on iconic labels like Defected and Toolroom, what drew you to Claptone’s Golden Recordings for this project? How does this label fit into your artistic journey, and how does that decision usually come to you?
I love working with Claptone and his team. After the huge results of “Love Desire,” I had a follow up with Wh0 that also went really well, and “ You Got It All” just felt perfect to carry on this good relationship we have.
With the release kicking off 2025, what’s next for both of you this year? Can fans expect more collaborations or individual projects that explore similar vibes?
I’m trying to keep up with a very busy touring schedule and raising two kids, so I don’t have the same amount of time I used to for being in the studio every day. But, I’ve got a few things lined up, so I expect 2025 will be a good year — probably more remixes than originals, but still good. Speaking of which, I just remixed Patrick Topping on TRICK. It’s worth checking it out.
