Galantis is Celebrating 10 Years of “Runaway” in San Francisco

Galantis announces a highly anticipated return to San Francisco, celebrating ten years of “Runaway (U & I)” at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

If you’ve attended any major EDM festival in the States or plenty of others worldwide, there’s a high chance you’ve danced the night away to the infectious records of Galantis. The unique project perfectly encapsulates the best of the golden years of mainstream dance music with highly recognizable tunes, “Runaway (U & I),” “No Money,” and so many more.

While Galantis runs as a solo act now, with the Seafox filling the proverbial void during live shows, the act’s influence on the dance music scene can’t be denied. Even today, Galantis is still as successful as ever, playing festivals and sold-out shows worldwide, and releasing an album, Rx, earlier this year.

Galantis is on an end-of-year tour with stops in Mexico, Florida, and Texas. Other remaining big performances include Electric Brixton in London and Countdown NYE in San Bernardino. Dedicated fans have nonetheless noticed that Galantis has been absent from the Bay Area for the entire year. With unforgettable performances in 2021 and 2023 for New Year’s Eve, it’s almost become a tradition for longtime fans to see the high-energy project live as the holiday season approaches.

Luckily, fans won’t have to wait long as Galantis teased a Bay Area show on Instagram about a day ago. Local fans were quick to realize that the photos were taken outside of the iconic Bill Graham Civic Auditorium with the words “Think I can fly” and “Are you ready to runaway?” on the marquee.

Less than 24 hours after the initial teaser, Galantis and Bill Graham Civic Auditorium officially announced that Galantis will make its highly anticipated return to San Francisco on February 8. This isn’t just another normal show, either, as Galantis is returning to celebrate ten years of the hit single, “Runaway (U & I)!”

Fans can sign up for early access to tickets by signing up on the official website right now! Signing up grants access to the exclusive artist presale on December 4 beginning at 10am with the general sale beginning at the same time on December 6. The lineup remains a mystery, but stay tuned and keep your eyes peeled for what are sure to be great additions to a highly anticipated event!
