The sixth volume of We Are Deadbeats is littered with 20 fantastic tracks from some of the bass scene’s fastest-rising artists and more.

If you’re hunting for artists pushing boundaries and carving out significant space for themselves in the scene, look no further than Deadbeats. The Zeds Dead-led imprint has been home to countless artists who have left a lasting impact within the realms of dubstep, drum and bass, house, and more. Over the years, the We Are Deadbeats compilation series has helped show off the latest and greatest sounds from the next generation of artists on the label.

We Are Deadbeats, Vol. 6 offers 20 tracks that align with the label’s dynamic nature. While heavy on the dubstep side of the spectrum, some absolute gems dig into breaks, drum and bass, and more across the solo and collaborative tunes. This begins with Zeds Dead and Chee teaming up for a vibey dubstep tune, “Tomb Of The Scorpion,” that starts chilled before delivering an onslaught of deep basslines and more. It’s off to the races from there.

Each track on this compilation packs a punch, but some deserve added praise. Hydraulix’s “I Spit Da Fire,” Digital Ethos‘ “Berserk,” VEIL’s “Hellpod,” Wraz and PAV4N’s “Invasion,” and Lumasi and Ghost Lotus‘ “Back In It” all offer a heavy dose of basslines that will melt your face straight off. The halftime soundscape on STELLER’s “Vibe One Time,” with layered vocals that creep in and out, creates a trippy ambiance you can’t help but come back to again and again.

Skellytn takes you straight to the “Digital Realm” with its dystopian atmosphere filled with fast-paced breaks, sirens, modulated vocals, and other distorted elements that will leave you feeling like you’re in The Matrix. The closing tune, “Running Away,” sees ACE and Katrina Anastasia offer a dreamy, vocal-driven drum and bass tune that swells with energy to keep your body moving as the final seconds tick away.

Dig into the tracks on We Are Deadbeats Vol. 6 on Spotify or your preferred platform, and stay tuned for more from Deadbeats by following them on social media.
