Airrica Elevates Dance Music with 'Hi Speed Lover' EP on Crosstown Rebels

DJ and producer Erica Gale, better known as Airrica, continues to challenge herself with her latest EP, Hi Speed Lover. Airrica has quickly made a name for herself in the dance music scene with just two releases so far on labels like Higher Ground and Damian Lazarus’s Rebellion. This third release, a four-tracker on Crosstown Rebels, marks a significant step in her career.

Hi Speed Lover, which includes remixes from rising talents Nick Morgan and KinAhau, is both groovy and captivating. Airrica describes the inspiration behind the EP: “My inspiration for these tracks came from the pure fun of getting lost on the dance floor, specifically those moments where the whole room is bouncing along joyfully. I love those moments where a break strips back, a sassy vocal takes the spotlight, and you can feel the energy of the night building upwards.”

The title track is a groovy, catchy tune that immediately gets you dancing in your seat. The tight drums and vocals make it unforgettable. Nick Morgan’s remix takes a more cosmic, trippy deep house approach, perfect for those 5am after hours.

The second track, “Cherries,” is a dance floor bomb designed to catch ears mid set with its fun vocal and infectious rhythm. It’s a track that stands out and keeps the night going. KinAhau’s remix sets the stage for an ethereal journey with its spacey deep house take. This EP is a true weapon on the dance floor, starting and finishing strong.

Airrica has had a big year with even bigger shows coming soon, including performances with Damian Lazarus in Hï Ibiza as well as club and festival appearances all summer long.
