When Nicole Moudaber and Skin team up, the product is nothing short of magical. That’s exactly what happened last year when they fused their techno and rock world to create the experimental BREED EP. Flash forward to this year and Moudaber and Skin are releasing a carefully curated set of remixes on BREED The RMXS. This package contains remixed versions of each one of the original tracks and features prominent producers Carl Craig, Fur Coat, Hector, Jamie Jones, Jerome Sydenham, MJ Hall, Paco Osuna, Pan-Pot, Paul Ritch and Scuba (in alphabetical order).
The remixes include heavy techno remixes, powerful kickdrums and heavy basslines from the likes of Jamie Jones and Carl Craig, while Pan-Pot and Hector mix in sub bass and synth work. There’s also dark and industrial sounds emanating from the Suba and FurCoat remixes while MJ Hall infuses hip-hop and rap into his mix. Multiple sounds can be found in these tracks which ensures that there is now a version to fit any set.
Moudaber and Skin have shared the stage numerous times including Coachella, Kappa FuturFestival in Italy and Space in Ibiza. When speaking of future collaborations with Skin, Nicole stated:
We definitely have plans to do more songs next year, it’s just a matter of locking in the right time to do it. It’s definitely going to be different – we keep pushing boundaries and we will see what we can come up with, only time will tell!
We can only hope they keep collaborating and continue to make amazing music together.
