Housewife Spreads Love on Valentine's Day with a Fresh Mix

Housewife is gearing up to drop “Girl Math” on hau5trap and dropped off a Valentine’s Day mix that will have your heart fluttering and feet shuffling.

Denver-based DJ and producer Housewife has been serving up fresh mixes ever since she first set foot on the scene in 2018. The past few years alone have seen her take the stage at venues like Mission Ballroom and Ogden Theatre in the Mile High City, along with Academy in Los Angeles, but those sets aren’t all she’s been cooking up. Last year saw Housewife dip her toes into production with “Bey Tonight” with Wally B on JEANIE’s GRL GANG imprint, and now she’s giving everyone a second helping with her new single, “Girl Math,” on hau5trap.

Playing off of the viral TikTok videos that showcased the cheeky mentality girls tend to have and deeming it Girl Math made me think, ‘What would a Housewife equation be?’ From there, I played with the lyrics referencing the dating scene and then honed in on vibey and dark drums and stabby synths, thus equaling Girl Math.

To celebrate the upcoming release of “Girl Math” on February 16, Housewife shared a special Valentine’s Day mix so everyone can feel the love today. Featuring her new single to kick everything off, she then goes on to layer in even more tunes like Matroda’s remix of “Let’s Go Dancing” and Grenno’s “BRB” that will have you grooving to the beat.
