Marsh ushers in the end of 2023 with Reimagined, which consists of five revitalized remixes from his globally successful third album, Endless.
Over the years, few artists have contributed as much to the growth of Anjunadeep as the illustrious and influential Marsh. While his productions continue to elevate him into a league of his own, his consistency and attention to detail keep fans returning for more after every track. His career has taken him around the globe, and with the massive success of his third studio album, Endless, the time has come for the next chapter of Marsh’s most sought-after tracks. Enter Reimagined, out now on Anjunadeep.
Reimagined takes on a life of its own as Endless followed his Anjunadeep debut, Lailonie, and career-defining singles “Lost in You” and “Come Together.” Just as his legacy has been defined by sophisticated productions that make his records addictive and listenable, Reimagined captures the excellence of Endless and restructures it for a more dance floor-centric sound.
“White Lie (Pneuma)” guides Reimagined into the spotlight as Marsh teams up with longtime collaborator Jodie Knight under her new vocal alias ALLKNIGHT. Instantly danceable kicks lift ALLKNIGHT’s vocals into the upper echelons as driving synth pads and razor-sharp hi-hats build the energy of the track into an instant late-night favorite almost certain to get you grooving right out of the gate.
The cosmic vibes prevail on Reimagined‘s second track as “Heaven (Marsh’s Reese Mix)” catapults us into the outer realms. Marsh powers up his sonic starship that is the growling low-end of the Reese bass as he pushes the energy into a synergistic harmony of ethereal vocal chops, computerized synth fills, and perfectly timed claps. After that, the tension releases into a powerful groove that reminds us all why Marsh continues to exist in a world of his own. This remix is a powerfully refreshing take on the original.
Our journey through Reimagined continues with “Free (Marsh’s Dream Mix).” The album’s third track redefines the Marsh we all know and love with infectious, danceable grooves that don’t weigh too heavily on the dance floor. “Free” holds its own as a tailor-made track for sunrise, or simply for those more delicate moments as you make your way through the wee hours of the morning.
The energy holds strong as we find ourselves deep into the sonic soundscapes of Reimagined. Marsh delivers a one-two punch on “Pretty Eyes (Marsh’s Reflective Mix),” diving deeper into his gorgeous melodic expertise. “Pretty Eyes” grabs hold from the beginning, and while he builds the energy in perfect time throughout the track, Marsh’s intentionally softer elements continue to shine through. It is a track that can carry the album independently while commanding an easily danceable groove from beginning to end.
“Love (Marsh’s Euphoria Mix)” can be described as precisely that. “Love” is a contagious, high-energy groove that ebbs and flows almost flawlessly as Reimagined’s most potent track — and its curtain call. Injecting a feeling of overwhelming positivity into the album, Marsh puts his full production capabilities front and center. “Love” is a true example of how Marsh continues to elevate his sound and solidify himself as one of Anjunadeep’s most celebrated artists. While the original album Endless officially put Marsh on the map, Reimagined will be the one that keeps him at the top.
Marsh’s Reimagined also contains five extended cuts of each song on the album. Stream all ten tracks below on Spotify, or purchase them on the Anjunadeep website.
