Armin van Buuren is gearing up to release Breathe In, his ninth studio album on Armada Music that will highlight a more kinetic sound.
It’s been another successful year for dance legend Armin van Buuren. On top of sold-out shows, festival appearances, a summer run at Ushuaïa, and celebrating a historic 20 years of Armada Music, the Dutch producer also released Feel Again—a three-part album series that explored our journey back to the dancefloor.
While the holiday season is normally a time for calm and reflection for the king of trance, he’s giving the community a reason to look forward to the new year. Today, Armin van Buuren announced his ninth studio album, Breathe In.
Breathe In is a project that’s taken over two years to complete, and the Grammy-nominated artist is embracing this era with a more uplifting sound and faster tempo. According to the producer, Breathe In’s narratives will build on the themes of Feel Again, focusing on his connection with fans, spreading positivity, making connections, and motivating listeners to celebrate life.
The record will officially drop on January 12 on Armin’s own Armada Music imprint, which has been home to over 40,000 tracks and many of today’s trend-setting producers, including Loud Luxury, ARTY, Cedric Gervais, and many others. As we wait for the new year release, ASOT family members can tune into his latest annual A State Of Trance Year Mix, a collection of over 100 hundred songs, filled with some of the scene’s most talented producers such as Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, and Solarstone.
While more album information is expected in the coming weeks, fans can pre-save Breathe In through their preferred music platform. Make sure to follow Armin’s social media to stay informed of the latest album news, New Year’s Eve performances, and more!
