Sorrow Offers Four New 140 Fixations on ‘Dark Zone’

Sorrow adds another perfect dubplate to his discography with the release of Dark Zone, out on White Peach Records!

Sorrow stands out as one of the greatest UK garage and grime artists in many people’s books. It’s easy to admire his passion for rejuvenating sounds as he bleeds innovation with each project his hands touch. His discography consists of plenty of unique and vast choices that range from melodic wonders to sultry dubplates. Whatever your palate, Sorrow has a little something for everyone to feel satisfied.

The world forever changed once Sorrow’s project debuted in 2011. Over the years, he’s blessed the airwaves with memorable singles like “Requiem” with Vacant, a handful of EPs, and two albums. He really struck a chord within many people’s souls with the fan-favorite EP, Carpe Noctem, which provides a comforting embrace with each note therein. Now, Sorrow has decided to focus his talents back on 140-slathered beats as he unveils his latest four-track EP, Dark Zone.

Fall into mischief as the title track, “Dark Zone” sets the mood with unwavering unpredictability. Let the slower-speed high hats and interchanging, bouncy beats lead you further into the depths of the dark uncharted territory that awaits you.

You’ve reached the end of the tunnel as “Kane” fills the silence with an easily digestible musical spread. Listeners will find themselves flirting with angelic and demonic energies simultaneously throughout this track’s entire runtime.

Transport yourself into an otherworldly experience by exploring “Planets” less traveled. Feel your hips loosen with each hypnotizing beat as well as sounds that evoke mental imagery of a robotic Egyptian goddess dancing.

“Vision” continues to guide you down the sacred tunnels found within the Egyptian pyramids. Inching forward down the path with each low vibrational force and just a fire torch, you eagerly continue on with your journey hoping to gain the perception you desire most.
