Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki, and Da Tweekaz are among Tomorrowland Winter’s 2024 headliners.
Last month, Tomorrowland Winter announced its 2024 event and shared plans to adopt the flagship festival’s 2017 Amicorum Spectaculum theme. At long last, organizers have now announced the first handful of headliners. When the gathering returns to Alpe d’Huez ski resort in southeastern France from March 16-23, some of EDM’s most brightly shining stars will come with it.
The phase one lineup consists of 24 acts. Among them are Dutch mainstagers like Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano as well as Belgian drum and bass staple Netsky and Norwegian hardstyle duo Da Tweekaz. The announcement also includes Kölsch, Steve Aoki, Yves V, Amber Broos, and a back-to-back set between Tchami and Malaa.
“Next year’s winter edition will welcome 22,000 People of Tomorrow in the beautiful Alps for a week-long experience with stunning performances throughout day and night by more than 150 of the planet’s greatest artists and spectacular views of Alpe d’Huez and the surrounding mountains,” reads a press release. “Tomorrowland Winter 2024 will be inspired by the Amicorum Spectaculum, one of the most mythical themes in the history of Tomorrowland, celebrating the spectacle of friendship and uniting an international group of the planet’s best entertainers.”
Tomorrowland’s flagship festival debuted in Boom, Belgium in 2005. Although headlined by greats like Armin van Buuren, Technoboy, and Felix da Housecat, it drew a modest 10,000 attendees. Fast forward nearly two decades, and it regularly tops 400,000 revelers. Artists like Martin Garrix, Adam Beyer, David Guetta, Hardwell, and Joris Voorn have performed at the festival over the years.
The organizers of Tomorrowland introduced Tomorrowland Winter in 2019. In addition to DJ sets from artists like Lost Frequencies, Timmy Trumpet, Charlotte de Witte and Vini Vici, the offshoot festival enables attendees to ski and snowboard on site, and it also offers a variety of other activations.
Tomorrowland Winter lodging packages and four-day passes are sold out. Seven-day passes are still available, and one-day passes will go on sale tomorrow at 3:00 PM CEST via the Tomorrowland website.
