Legendary dance music brand Defected is set to host a Six Degrees of Celebration run of shows across six continents to ring in the new year.

From hosting shows in London and other reaches of the world to curating some of the best music the scene has to offer, Defected has been at the forefront of the global dance music community. This year has seen them continue to flourish as they touched down in Ibiza with another jaw-dropping residency, hosted a massive party in Croatia, and dropped off stunning releases from Todd Edwards, LP Giobbi, Sam Divine, and more.

Riding the wave of their success in 2023, Defected has now announced their plans to help close out the year and start 2024 off on the right foot—and they’re doing it on a global scale. The beloved brand is set to bring parties to six continents for dance music lovers from all walks of life to enjoy. Dubbed the Six Degrees of Celebration, this run of shows won’t just feature captivating sets from top-tier artists but focus on the relationships made on the dancefloor.

We can’t wait to celebrate with our biggest-ever global New Year’s showcase! We are putting on our most ambitious project yet – a celebration that will see us light up six continents! This event is not just another event; it is a testament to the enduring spirit of electronic music and the passionate community that has grown around it.

George Pritchard, Director of Events & Talent

Ivy in Sydney, Chi Samui Beach Club in Koh Samui, and the Wild Waters Complex in Johannesburg are all set to host parties on New Year’s Eve. Carl Cox, Danny Howard, and Riva Starr will play in Sydney, Melé and Offaiah are set to take the stage in Koh Samui, and Darius Syrossian and Kitty Amor will win over the crowd in Johannesburg.

Las Vegas receives two separate shows, one on New Year’s Eve at Discopussy, while New Year’s Day will see them take over the We All Scream Rooftop. Artists slated to play on NYE include Arielle Free and Harry Romero, while NYD brings Juliet Mendoza and Mike Dunn to the stage. On January 6, Buenos Aires will also host a Defected showcase as part of this run at a venue and lineup that’s still yet to be announced.

Defected’s home base in London will also receive quite the celebration as their annual soiree, which has been hosted at Ministry Of Sound and Printworks in the past, will now find a home at OVO Arena, Wembley. New Year’s Eve will bring artists like Sam Divine, Low Steppa, and Ferreck Dawn to the stage, while Glitterbox dominates the second day with Eats Everything, Groove Armada, Natasha Diggs, The Shapeshifters, and more.

Tickets for all of the upcoming Defected New Year’s shows are on sale now. Head over to their official website for more details and to make your purchase.
