Breakaway Music Festival returns to the Bay Area this weekend, so we rounded up all the essential info, including set times and more.
After making its Bay Area debut just last year, Breakaway Music Festival quickly caught our attention as the newest cross-country festival not to miss. With stops in Ohio, Boston, Carolina, Kansas City, Michigan, and now the Bay Area, the festival’s circuit continues to grow, capturing attendees with their unique genre-mixed lineups, silent disco sets, and stellar production. After announcing their Bay Area return for 2023 at the renowned Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, we knew we had to check it out.
This year’s Breakaway Bay Area lineup features a bountiful variety, with artists like Madeon, DJ Diesel, Walker & Royce, Kaleena Zanders, Henry Fong, Moore Kismet, Rossy, Peekaboo, and more. The Breakaway team also called on fellow tastemakers Brownies & Lemonade for a stage takeover on this stop, splitting the lineup between two stages. If that wasn’t enough, the festival will also have a Silent Disco presented by White Claw, which features all local and upcoming DJs and producers. We love to see curators uplifting the community with their platforms.
Anyone who’s attended Bill Graham for any other event will tell you that parking can be tricky in the middle of San Francisco if you don’t get there early. The venue parking lot is definitely the best option, but it does fill up, so attendees will want to put together their best fits early and head on over. Now that parking details are out of the way, continue reading for all other essential information for a flawless Breakaway weekend. You can grab any last-minute tickets via the official Breakaway website, and those for the official afterparties featuring Wuki and What So Not.

Reminder To Mind Your Belongings:
Unfortunately, many people have reported pickpockets, bag slashings, and theft of wallets, smartphones, purses, and other valuables during this festival season. While this small number of bad apples in the bunch doesn’t define an entire crowd, some opportunistic people come to these events to take advantage of unsuspecting partygoers, and it’s important to be mindful of your valuables while at Breakaway Bay Area.
