Big Gigantic will perform in 12 US cities this fall. They’ve enlisted up-and-comers Levity for support on nine of the stops.

Every year, fans of Big Gigantic hailing from their hometown of Colorado look forward to the duo’s annual Red Rocks doubleheader, Rowdytown. That’s not all they have in store for the rest of the year, though. The livetronica act have announced a fall 2023 run of 12 tour dates throughout the US from October 12-28, and breakthrough EDM trio Levity will accompany them on nine of the appearances.

The tour kicks off with a performance at Showbox SoDo in Seattle before winding its way through the Pacific Northwest with gigs at The North Warehouse in Portland and Breakaway Music Festival in San Francisco. After visiting the Southern cities of Fayetteville and Kansas City to perform at JJ’s Live and KC Live!, respectively, Big Gigantic will play for Midwest fans at The Rave in Milwaukee and Grewel Hall at 224 in Lansing. Rounding out the rest of the tour are gigs at HMAC in Harrisburg and Power Plant Live! in Baltimore before it wraps up with an appearance at The Fillmore Philadelphia.

Dominic Lalli and Jeremy Salken started Big Gigantic in 2008 after jamming together in Boulder, Colorado, according to the Boulder Weekly. The following year, their EPs Fire It Up and Wide Awake popularized their saxophone and live drum-infused brand of bass music among a nascent era of EDM fans. The duo quickly rose through the ranks of the music industry, and 2012 marked their first Rowdytown headline show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Levity hail from Chicago, and Thissongissick notes that the genre-bending trio started gaining serious traction for their 2023 performance at Electric Forest. Singles like “Rising Tides” and their drum and bass remix of “Breezeblocks” by Alt-J may not cleanly conform to a single category but still exhibit some of the same high-energy hallmarks.

Big Gigantic’s fall 2023 tour with support from Levity runs from October 12-28. Tickets to all upcoming shows are available on their website.
