The Beatport ReConnect Summit will take place on September 21-22 and feature a variety of discussions, live performances, and immersive experiences.
Beatport launched their ReConnect series in March of 2020 in their efforts to bring the greater music community together and benefit charities during the global pandemic. Since then, they’ve hosted countless live stream events for dance music lovers to tune into while also raising over $800,000 for charities like You Are Not Alone and initiatives such as For Beirut. Now, Beatport is expanding even further by hosting their first-ever ReConnect Summit in Brooklyn this September.
Taking place on September 21-22 at 74 Wythe in Brooklyn, the ReConnect Summit will feature a wide array of activities, which include thoughtful discussions from executives within the dance community, live performances from some of the world’s top DJs, and immersive experiences from technology partners.
The first wave of partners unveiled include Audius and PIXELYNX, which will help curate the Web 3.0 and crypto curriculum during the event. Beatport is also teaming up with The Art of Arete, DanceSafe, and Women in Music to host health and wellness dialogues and share their artistic innovation and diversity-focused programming with the wider community. Attendees can look forward to networking sessions during the day and enjoy a relaxing evening with exclusive live performances from top DJs in the evening at the meticulously designed 15,000-square-foot space.
The challenges of the pandemic and the response from our global community have exhibited just how vibrant and resilient our culture is. ReConnect was born out of the pandemic as an effort to help keep our community thriving, and now that we’re starting to gather again we thought that bringing together executives, artists and fans of dance music and DJ culture would be a powerful way to reconnect.
