The debut edition of All Day I Dream Festival is on the horizon and Tim Green curated a playlist filled with favorite tunes from the label.
London-based DJ and producer Tim Green has quite a legacy in the scene. Over the years he’s taken the stage at some of the world’s top festivals and nightclubs while simultaneously fostering a home on a wide range of labels as well. One of the labels he’s carved out significant space on during this time is Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream – a perfect fit for Tim Green’s unique blend of elements from the realm of house music.
Recent years have seen Tim Green flex his melodic might on All Day I Dream with fantastic offerings that include Melanda and The Moss, along with tracks like “Iso” with Sebastien Leger and “Sowa” on the imprints winter samplers. Further, he also remixed Lee Burridge’s “Satellite Girl” on the Leee EP, providing a sublime twist on the original version.
As a frequent face on both the label and event side of All Day I Dream, it came as no surprise that Tim Green was announced to play the debut edition of their festival this year. He’s set to take over the decks alongside the likes of Jan Blomqvist, Öona Dahl, Sébastien Léger, Cubicolor, and more at the Woodward Reservoir from May 12-15 – but before that, he took some time to dig into the imprint’s discography to select some of their finest tunes.
This playlist is a highlighted discography, all from the All Day I Dream back catalog (all except one song). Songs that stood out for me, from the start of the label. Songs that I played often and heard regularly at the ADID parties. Songs that inspired me and influenced me on my journey, up to when I started releasing on the label myself. All of which I think are a great encapsulation of the ethos and vibe of the All Day I Dream festival and events!
