After stunning the masses with “Suddenly,” house DJ and producer Rich Furniss is back with video game-themed single, “Game On.”
Hailing from New York, Rich Furniss is a wonderfully fresh face in the electronic scene. Having launched his alias just last year after producing under the MopTop moniker, he has already seen massive success with electrifying house cuts such as “Let Me Work” with Chris Crack and “I’ll Be There” with Apollo XO. Further, Rich Furniss shared stages with Rick Ross and Chromeo while also making previous appearances at Governor’s Ball, Mayhem Fest, and Safe & Sound SXSW – making it clear that this budding talent is certainly one to keep an eye and ear out for.
After releasing “Suddenly” on Quincy Boy Records, Rich Furniss returns to the forefront with his new funky disco house tune, “Game On.” This fist-pumping self-release is loosely inspired by video game soundtracks with its bubbly piano notes and syncopated beats. Guaranteed to get everyone’s feet shuffling, “Game On” ignites with an infectious jackin house groove laden with disco elements that will quickly transport you to the nearest dancefloor.
Regarding his inspiration for the tune, Rich Furniss said, “This song was inspired by the video games that helped keep me and many of my producer friends sane over the pandemic.” As everyone continues searching for summer bops as we approach the warmer months filled with plenty of sunshine, “Game On” is one danceable cut that will definitely remain in rotation!
Rich Furniss is already off to an explosive start with this new project and if you haven’t started listening to him yet there’s no better time than today. Get an exclusive listen to his electric single “Game On” on SoundCloud and stay tuned for its full release.
