INFEKT Cooks Up a Fiery Dubstep Mix

INFEKT gifted us with an energetic bass mix for the This is Home Series after the recent release of “Monkey Dance” on Disciple Alliance Vol. 7.

INFEKT has been at the forefront of the bass scene for nearly a decade, making a name for himself through his crisp production, heavy riddim tracks, and a persistent release schedule. Since 2016 he’s been a frequent face on Disciple Records, while also releasing tracks like “Sectumsepra,” “Tendo,” “Introspection,” and “Das Riddim” with Virtual Riot – all of which have garnered him an incredibly large fanbase.

Most recently, INFEKT released “Monkey Dance” on Disciple Alliance Vol. 7 compilation and has listeners going bananas for it. Speaking about the track, he said he wanted to “make something really catchy and groovy,” which aligns with a number of his previous releases on Disciple’s compilations. INFEKT went on to offer more about its creation and the reception so far as well, stating “I had the wacky melody stuck in my head quite a few times in the stages of production and while listening
back to the tune, and I’m happy to see that people have been enjoying it so far!”

While INFEKT is originally from Germany, he now resides in Montreal, which is an absolute hotspot for the bass scene. We are thrilled to have him throw down a mix for our This is Home series! Throughout its runtime, INFEKT takes listeners on a riddim-infused journey using effortless mixing skills that allow each song to roll into the next one. On top of this, his track selection allows you to get an idea of what this bass producer brings to the table within the scene – energetic, elevated sounds that you won’t be able to stop yourself from moving to.

Montreal has always been one of my favourite places to play, but now that I live there, I also love going to shows and being part of the underground scene. There’s something unique about the scene in this city, it’s like a little family that gets together every week to skank out to their favourite music.
